ReplyDeleteThis passage is about Ethan who wrote up about a dream where a girl is slipping through his hands. The Most important part about his passage is that he fell in love with a girl he doesn't even know.

ReplyDeleteLong story short but I been having some trouble with this website so I had to do it in paper but I got it fixed so here is my first four bloogs I did in paper.
Blog day 1: Words that are used frequently are words like I,the,A,and,as,they,were,to and etc are words you will hear or say in a daily basis. These are words that were in the first ten pages I read
Blog day 2: New words that I found are new words like, porches,casters,supernatural civil war, One word that I learned is porches which means a covered shelter projecting in front of the entrance of a building.
Blog 3: today in the first 5 pages I read I did not find new words. i also told my partners if they found any new words and they said no. one word that I saw a lot in these 5 pages I read was the word work.

ReplyDeleteThe most important events that happen in 9.11 Collision was by the time wate got to his car he was soaking wet there was a storm that has been building all weak. Wate needed to clear his head and figure out what was going on even if the clouds were totally black and that it was hurricane season. Wate had to turn his headlights on even during out of the parking lot. Wate couldn't see three feet in-front of his car which is bad.the main event that happen in chapter 2 was that there was a new girl in town Lena Duchannes which means that Ethan and Link were talking about Lena. I think that the characters Ethan and Link like Lena Duchannes. Amma all way spoke in riddles and left it for Ethan to figure it out. Ethan wanted to spend time with his before and after his mom pass away.

ReplyDeleteEveryone found out that the new girl is Ravenwood's niece and now everyone is curious. While Ethan is playing basketball they see her driving out of the parking lot in Ravenwood's car.

ReplyDeleteThe most important event in the section i read was Ethan Wate had a dreamless sleep the first he had in a long time. When he woke up his window was closed their was no mud in his bed and no mysterious songs on his iPod. He checked twice even in his bed looking up at his blue ceiling thinking about Lena Duchannes and her green eyes and black hair.
The events are so important because Ethan was talking to link about Lena Duchannes because he need to tell someone that he saw her. Link told Ethan to keep what he did with Lena to himself. In the story Ethan says its one thing to hangout with a beautiful girl in any situation and it was another thing to hang out with old man Ravenwood.

ReplyDeleteToday in class as a group I read 10 pages of a book called beautiful creatures. Me and my partners have different jobs my job is to be the word watcher,My job is to simply find new words and learn about them and explain what they need. Today I found one word that me or my partners never heard, the word was Congealed which means, having become semisolid, especially on cooling.

ReplyDeleteLena was able to meet her mom Sarafine though small szeriers. Sarafine was trying to get Lena to go Dark while Lena's Uncle Macon was trying to get her to the light. But it was hard to pick because if Lena picked Dark then everyone that is light will die, and everyone that is Dark will live. But if she chooses Light then everyone including Sarafine will die and everyone that is light will live.

ReplyDeleteToday in class me and my group read the book beautiful creatures. I read 5 pages today in the 5 pages i read I found one word that me or my or my group has never heard before which is the word Plethora. The word Plethora means a large or excessive amount of something.
I meant to capitalized the word Beautiful Creatures in my May 8 blog post but I don't know how to so in this post I did a correction also I meant to say my partners and I but I said me and my partners in accident.
DeleteEthan wanted to know why his dad stays went into his study and never comes out. Ethan went to his English class and he had her in that period. A girl took Lena's paper and Ethan took it from the girl and gave it back, he wanted to be nice to he and he tried to talk to her.

I am in the middle of the novel Beautiful Creatures. There was this one word that would always be around the book, but once the middle of the novel started this word called caster started to appear more more. The definition of Caster is, A person who casts something or a machine for casting something.

ReplyDeleteEthan wate tried to reread the catcher in the rye until he felt tired enough to fall asleep.The only thing is Ethan never got tired enough. Ethan couldn't read because reading didn't feel the same.He couldn't disappear into the character of holden caulfeild because he couldn't get into the story. Ethan put his book down and looked up at his blue ceiling and he said "Lena? you're there, arent't you? "It's no use. I know you're there,Here, whatever" Ethan waited until he heard her voice unfold like a tiny,bright memory in the darkest corner of his mind.

One word that I found is called a Futuristic Criminal. I looked up the definition of this word and no definitions showed up somehow so I asked my teacher and she gave me lots of examples.

Ethan said" I'm trying he turned out the lights and said goodnight to lena "Lena said goodnight. Ethan hoped she couldn't read all his thought he is going to think about basketball. Ethan lost control and he was sinking drowning Ethan was drowning thrashing in the green water waves were crashing over his head. He's feet kicked for the muddy bottom of a river maybe like sateen but there was nothing. Ethan could see some kind of light skimming the river but he couldn't get to the surface he was going down. "Lena said it's my birthday, Ethan it's happening." Lena reached out grabbing at my hand and i twist to catch it but she drifted away. Ethan could not hold on anymore he tried to scream as Ethan watched her pale little hand drift down toward the darkness his mouth filled with water and he couldn't make a sound. Ethan and Lena barely spoke as they drove back to ethan's house. Lena let ethan drive, which was good because ethan needed something to distract him until his pulse slowed back down. Ethan and Lena passed ethans street, but ethan didn’t care. He wasn’t ready to go home. Ethan didn’t know what was going on with Lena, or in her house, or anything about her uncle, but lena was going to tell ethan.
Ethan just found out about Lena's powers and they have a talk about it,Ethan finds out that they can't kiss or physical contact,because it burns Ethan.

Ethan knew it was coming he didn’t know it would feel like this. Ethan has two places he wanted to be with lena or alone so he could try to hammer is all out of his mind.
